Many of these handmade, ethnic accessories are made by hilltribe people such as the Mien, Karen and Hmong scattered throughout Asia. Many hours of painstaking labor goes into the making of these unique handmade pieces. The income derived from the sales of these handmade accessories, handmade crafts and ethnic accessories greatly improves the quality of life for hilltribe people. A percentage of the proceeds will be donated to various charities in the countries where the items come from.

Not only has it been a fascinating journey to travel to these far away places it has been a great joy to bring to you these incredible works of art. I have met some wonderful people along the way and dear to my heart are the two little hilltribe girls from Vietnam Mai and Chui who were my constant shadows and consummate helpers.
